Job Title: Exam Invigilator
Location: Hull
Contract Type: Temporary, Supply, Part-Time
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Salary Scale: £92 – £115 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education Hull Branch are currently seeking Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Hull during examination periods. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who can maintain a professional and focused environment while ensuring pupils are supported appropriately throughout their examinations.
Exam Invigilator Role:
The successful Exam Invigilator will help ensure examinations run smoothly and in accordance with examination regulations. You will be responsible for preparing the examination room, supervising candidates, maintaining appropriate standards of conduct and reporting any concerns to the relevant staff member.
Exam Invigilator Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure the correct seating arrangements and resources are in place.
- Supervise pupils throughout examinations and maintain a calm, quiet and focused environment.
- Distribute and collect examination papers and materials in accordance with procedures.
- Ensure examination regulations and instructions are followed consistently.
- Monitor candidates carefully and report any irregularities or concerns to the appropriate member of staff.
- Support the secure handling and organisation of examination materials before and after each session.
Exam Invigilator Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator is desirable, although training can be provided for suitable candidates.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed procedures accurately.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to working within an educational environment.
- Calm and confident manner, with the ability to remain attentive for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries with pupils.
- An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years with explanations for any gaps
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
