Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are recruiting energetic and committed Physical Education Teacher to work with fabulous schools in Doncaster. We are seeking qualified educators who can deliver engaging Physical Education lessons, encourage participation across different ability levels, and help students develop a positive and lasting attitude towards physical activity.

The PE Teacher will deliver practical and theory-based learning across a variety of sports and activities, supporting learners in developing physical fitness, technical ability, tactical awareness, teamwork, and resilience.

PE Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons across relevant key stages
  • Lead individual and team sports using clear demonstrations and instructions
  • Develop fitness, coordination, technique, and tactical understanding
  • Adapt activities to accommodate different abilities and confidence levels
  • Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, resilience, and responsible participation
  • Maintain appropriate health and safety standards during lessons and sporting activities

PE Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong understanding of the Physical Education curriculum
  • Previous experience teaching PE within a school is desirable
  • Confidence delivering a broad range of sports and physical activities
  • Effective communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
