Job Title: Math Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are recruiting knowledgeable and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to work with vibrant schools in Doncaster. We are seeking qualified educators who can explain mathematical concepts clearly, challenge learners appropriately, and create lessons that strengthen numerical fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver structured and engaging lessons across the Mathematics curriculum, helping students build strong foundations while developing the confidence to tackle increasingly complex concepts.
Math Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across relevant key stages
- Explain numerical and abstract concepts using clear examples and appropriate methods
- Develop logical reasoning and problem-solving through varied classroom activities
- Adapt tasks and teaching approaches to different levels of ability
- Assess attainment and provide constructive feedback to support continued progress
- Prepare examination groups through targeted revision and assessment practice
Math Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum
- Previous experience teaching Mathematics
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and effectively
- Strong planning, assessment, communication, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
