Job Title: Supply Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you an adaptable and confident teacher looking for your next opportunity in Sheffield? A welcoming school is seeking a committed Supply Teacher who can step into the classroom and deliver high-quality teaching across a range of lessons.
About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering well-structured lessons, maintaining positive classroom routines and supporting pupils to stay engaged with their learning. You will use your teaching experience to adapt to different classes, establish effective relationships quickly and ensure pupils continue to make progress throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

Deliver well-planned and engaging lessons across the curriculum.

Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different classes and pupils.

Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour.

Assess pupils' understanding and provide appropriate feedback.

Support pupil progress through clear explanations and purposeful activities.

Follow school policies and maintain consistent classroom routines.

Work professionally with teachers and wider school staff.

Provide clear handover information following lessons where required.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Previous teaching experience within a school setting.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
