Are you a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse or Early Years Educator looking for your next opportunity within a primary school?
GSL Education is currently recruiting for a full time, long term Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming primary school in Harlow, working within their Reception / EYFS class.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years professional who enjoys helping young children develop, learn and thrive as they begin their school journey.
About the Role
Working as part of the Reception team, you will support children throughout their Early Years education, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children within a Reception / EYFS classroom
- Supporting learning through play-based and adult-led activities
- Helping children develop their communication, social and emotional skills
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive relationships
- Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
- Helping children access a range of engaging activities and experiences
- Supporting classroom routines and transitions
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
- Observing and responding to children's individual needs and interests
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Who We're Looking For
We are keen to hear from candidates with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Practitioners
- Experienced Nursery Assistants with the relevant qualification

Previous experience working within Nursery, Preschool, Reception or an EYFS setting would be highly desirable.
