Position: General & SEND Teaching Assistant
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time options available
Pay: £92.68 – £105 per day
About the Role:
A welcoming primary school in M22 is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This role involves general classroom support as well as dedicated 1:1 assistance for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism (ASD) and ADHD.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher in managing daily tasks and fostering positive behaviour.

Work 1:1 with pupils who have individual education plans (IEPs) or EHCPs.

Adapt learning activities to ensure all pupils can participate and achieve.

Monitor and report student progress to the class teacher and SENDCo.
Requirements:

Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEND).

Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.

Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
