Position: Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant
Hours: Full-Time (Term Time Only), 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: £92.68 - £105 per day
About the Role:
A vibrant, inclusive primary school in M14 is seeking an energetic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support classroom teachers across Key Stage 1 and 2. You will work alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning activities, run small group interventions in literacy and numeracy, and provide one-on-one support for children with additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in preparing learning materials and managing classroom routines.

Lead small-group phonics, reading, and maths booster sessions.

Provide targeted 1:1 support for students needing extra academic or emotional help.

Encourage a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
Requirements:

Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or degree equivalent).

Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting.

Strong literacy and numeracy skills.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
