Contract Type: Full-Time
Hours: Shift-based between 7:00 am – 6:30 pm
Salary: £15.25 – £16.83 per day (depending on experience)
Role Overview:
Are you an ambitious early years educator looking to step into a leadership role? A vibrant, high-quality nursery in M28 is looking for a full-time Senior Nursery Practitioner to mentor junior staff and help run daily room operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day room operations, ensuring compliance with EYFS standards and safety guidelines.

Role-model high standards of care, learning delivery, and child development activities.

Mentor and support junior practitioners, apprentices, and room assistants.

Build strong relationships with parents and handle daily handovers and developmental updates.
Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education.

Previous experience working as a room senior or key worker in a nursery setting.

Ability to work flexible full-time shifts covering the nursery operating hours (7:00 am – 6:30 pm).

Up-to-date knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and paediatric first aid.
