Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to work in reputed schools in Doncaster. We are looking for the candidates who can create engaging learning opportunities, respond to children’s individual developmental needs, and contribute to a safe and stimulating environment.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will get the chance to support children during the important early stages of their development, encouraging communication, creativity, social interaction, physical development, and growing independence.
Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging play-based activities aligned with children’s ages and developmental stages
- Support early communication, literacy, numeracy, and social development
- Observe individual progress and contribute to developmental records
- Encourage creativity and exploration through sensory and practical activities
- Help children develop confidence, independence, and positive relationships
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating Early Years environment
Early Years Practitioner Requirements:
- Experience working within Early Years, nursery, childcare, or a similar environment is desirable
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate learning
- Ability to engage children through purposeful play and structured activities
- Caring, patient, attentive, and reliable approach to Early Years practice
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
