Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to work in fabulous schools in Doncaster. We are seeking qualified educators who can deliver stimulating lessons across the curriculum, respond effectively to different abilities, and create a classroom environment where children are encouraged to participate, question, and progress.

The KS 2 Teacher will get the opportunity to deliver broad and balanced learning across Years 3 to 6, supporting children as they strengthen their academic foundations, independence, confidence, and readiness for secondary education.

Key Stage 2 Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Develop core skills across English, Mathematics, Science, and wider curriculum subjects
  • Differentiate activities to accommodate varying abilities and learning requirements
  • Encourage curiosity, independent thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving
  • Assess attainment and use progress information to inform future lesson planning
  • Create a structured and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive learning

Key Stage 2 Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment expectations
  • Previous experience teaching primary-aged children is desirable
  • Ability to plan differentiated lessons for learners with varied abilities
  • Effective classroom management, organisation, and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
