Job Title: Early Years Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking creative and nurturing Early Years Teacher (EYT) to work with vibrant schools in Sheffield. We are looking for qualified educators who understand how children learn during their formative years and can combine structured teaching with purposeful play to support individual development.
As an Early Years Teacher, you will deliver engaging learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping children build strong foundations in communication, literacy, numeracy, physical development, and social-emotional skills.
Early Years Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan stimulating learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework
- Introduce early literacy and numeracy through stories, games, play, and practical activities
- Create opportunities for creative, sensory, physical, and exploratory learning
- Observe and assess individual development to identify appropriate next steps
- Encourage communication, positive relationships, confidence, and independence
- Maintain an inclusive and stimulating environment where children feel secure and ready to learn
Early Years Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), or a recognised equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Previous experience teaching or supporting children within an Early Years setting is desirable
- Understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching approaches
- Strong planning, communication, assessment, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
