Early Years Teaching Assistant – Newham

  • Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant

  • Start Date: Immediate Start

  • Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term

  • Time: 8:00am and 5:45pm

  • Pay Rate: £95–£115 per day


About Early Years Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Support students’ learning, development and wellbeing within the nursery setting.

  • Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities linked to the EYFS.

  • Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.

  • Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.

  • Support students’ confidence, communication and independence.

Early Years Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

  • Right to Work in the UK.

  • Two to three professional references covering the last two to three years.
