Job Title: Health & Social Care with Childhood Development Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
As a Health & Social Care with Childhood Development Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of health, care and child development. You will support pupils in applying their knowledge to real-world contexts, while assessing progress and helping them build the skills and confidence needed for further study or employment.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Health & Social Care and Childhood Development lessons.

Teach relevant content across appropriate Key Stages and qualifications.

Assess, monitor and record student progress.

Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs.

Develop students' understanding through practical and real-world examples.

Maintain positive classroom behaviour and high expectations.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress.

Contribute to the wider life of the department and school where appropriate.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Health & Social Care, Child Development or a closely related subject.

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-
A genuine passion for helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
