Job Title: Exam Invigilator
Location: Hull
Contract Type: Temporary, Supply, Part-Time
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Salary Scale: £92 – £115 per day (Depending on experience)
Are you reliable, attentive, and able to remain calm and focused in a structured examination environment? GSL Education Hull Branch are currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to support examination sessions in an educational setting in Hull.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, responsible, and confident following procedures. You will play an important role in ensuring examinations are conducted smoothly, fairly, and in accordance with the required regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms, including arranging seating and ensuring the required materials are available.
- Welcome candidates and provide clear instructions before and during examination sessions.
- Supervise pupils throughout examinations, maintaining a quiet and focused environment.
- Follow examination regulations and procedures accurately and report any irregularities promptly.
- Monitor candidates carefully and respond appropriately to questions or concerns within examination guidelines.
- Collect, check, and securely organise examination papers and materials at the end of each session.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous experience in an educational, administrative, supervisory, or similar environment is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Calm, professional, and reliable approach, with the confidence to work independently when required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact appropriately with pupils and staff.
- Commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding, and maintaining the integrity of examination procedures.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
