GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant – Complex High Needs – 1:1 to join a welcoming school in Tower Hamlets, E2, starting ASAP. The school is part of a large federation of schools, providing access to a wide range of future opportunities for the right candidate. There is also potential to secure a long-term contract, depending on performance and suitability. Conveniently located close to excellent public transport links, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN professional to develop their career while making a meaningful impact on a student’s education and wellbeing.

- Location: Tower Hamlets E2
- Start date : ASAP
- Long term and full time role
- Daily rate : £95-£110
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 6 student with Asperger’s who uses a wheelchair.
- Support learning, communication, mobility and day-to-day wellbeing within the school environment.
- Assist with personal care and physical support where required.
- Experience supporting SEN children with very high and physical needs- 1 year experience minimum
- Recent SEN school based experience
- Able to support with SEN on a 1:1 basis
- Able to be flexible and resilient
- Manual handling training
- Able to support with personal care needs
- A valid DBS registered on the update service.
- 2-3 professional references covering a minimum of 2-3 years of employment history.
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Proof of national insurance
- Proof of address (dated within the last three months)
