Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking to appoint a committed Mathematics Teacher to work with a school in Barnsley. The role would suit someone who can explain mathematical ideas clearly, adapt their teaching to different learners and encourage pupils to approach challenges with greater confidence.
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons.
- Explain concepts clearly using a variety of teaching methods.
- Adapt activities to meet different abilities and learning needs.
- Develop pupils' reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor progress and provide useful feedback.
- Encourage positive behaviour and active participation.
- Work with colleagues to support pupils' academic development.
Requirements for the Maths Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Mathematics.
- Previous experience in a school setting is desirable.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to motivate pupils and build positive relationships.
- Good communication, planning and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
