GSL Education is currently recruiting Autism Teaching Assistants to work in specialist schools across Croydon and Addington Valley area. We have a range of opportunities available, including both long-term placements and daily supply work, offering flexibility to suit your availability and preferences.

These roles involve supporting children and young people with Autism and additional Special Educational Needs (SEN) within specialist school settings. You will play an important role in helping students access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence in a safe, supportive environment.

We are looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic individuals who have experience supporting children with Autism and are passionate about making a positive difference in their education and development.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people with Autism (ASC).

• Be confident supporting students with additional SEN needs.

• Have a patient, caring and flexible approach.

• Be able to build positive relationships with students and staff.

• Hold a Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.

• Be reliable and available for either long-term or daily supply work.
