Learning Support Assistant
Location: Winton
Pay Rate: £85.44 per day
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school based in Winton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide pupils with the guidance, encouragement and support they need to thrive in the classroom.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning tasks.
- Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who is:

- Confident working as part of a team.
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential.
