Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are recruiting enthusiastic and caring Early Years Practitioners to work within vibrant schools in Doncaster. This opportunity is suited to individuals who understand how young children learn through play, interaction, and exploration, and who can provide meaningful activities that support development during these important formative years.
As an EYP, you will contribute to children’s learning and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting communication, physical development, creativity, social interaction, and growing independence.
Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Organise purposeful play and learning activities around individual interests and developmental stages
- Encourage early communication and language through stories, conversation, songs, and games
- Observe children’s development and contribute to accurate progress records
- Facilitate creative, sensory, physical, and exploratory learning experiences
- Promote independence and positive interaction during activities and everyday routines
- Maintain a welcoming, stimulating, and safe Early Years environment
Early Years Practitioner Requirements:
- Experience within a nursery, Early Years, childcare, or similar setting is desirable
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Awareness of key areas of early childhood development
- Ability to engage children through age-appropriate activities and purposeful play
- Caring, attentive, and dependable approach to working with young children
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
