Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently looking for a committed Teacher of Mathematics to work with a school in Doncaster. The successful candidate will deliver well-planned lessons, encourage students to approach problems with confidence and support their progress across the Mathematics curriculum.
Key responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons.
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly using varied teaching approaches.
- Adapt learning activities to meet different abilities.
- Develop pupils' reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor progress and provide useful feedback.
- Promote positive behaviour and high classroom expectations.
- Work with colleagues to support pupils' wider academic development.
Requirements to be a Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and the ability to communicate concepts clearly.
- Previous experience teaching Mathematics in a school environment is desirable.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to motivate pupils and build positive learning relationships.
- Good planning, communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
The right Mathematics Teacher can help students move beyond simply finding answers and develop confidence in how they approach problems. A clear, encouraging and adaptable teaching style will be particularly valuable in this position.
