Position: Pastoral Leader / Inclusion Support

Location: Oldham (OL9 area)

Schedule: Full-time, starting ASAP

Pay Rate: £105 – £145 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead pastoral care and inclusion strategies to foster positive behaviour, resilience, and student engagement.

Manage targeted interventions for pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or high-level educational requirements.

Work closely with the SENCO, Head of Year, and external agencies to eliminate barriers to learning and track individual progress.

Maintain safeguarding standards and support student wellbeing across the school setting.
Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in a similar pastoral leadership, inclusion, or year-manager role within an educational environment.

Extensive experience supporting students with SEMH, high needs, or challenging behaviours.

Strong knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed practices, and child protection procedures.

Excellent communication skills for liaising with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
