Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Sheffield S5
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons suited to the needs of your class, while creating a positive and purposeful learning environment. You will use effective teaching strategies to support pupils' progress, assess their understanding and adapt your approach where needed.
You will also establish clear classroom routines, manage behaviour consistently and work closely with colleagues to support pupils' wider development. Whether working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, you will play an important role in helping children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons appropriate to the needs of your class.

Assess, monitor and record pupil progress effectively.

Differentiate learning to support pupils with varying abilities and needs.

Use assessment information to inform future planning and teaching.

Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching within a primary school setting.

Good knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication, organisation and planning abilities.

A genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
