Salary: £92 – £115 per day

About the Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across a range of York schools, with responsibilities including:
- Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities.
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils where required.
- Helping pupils access the curriculum and stay engaged with their learning.
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a calm and supportive classroom environment.
- Assisting with classroom preparation, displays and learning resources.
- Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
- Supporting pupils during lessons, breaktimes and lunchtimes where required.
