Salary: £460–£600 per week (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to join in a school setting in Sheffield. The successful candidate will help create a positive early learning experience through play, daily routines and activities that encourage children's curiosity and development.
Your responsibilities as an Early Years Practitioner:
- Plan and support engaging play-based learning activities.
- Encourage children's language, social and emotional development.
- Assist children with daily routines and age-appropriate independence.
- Provide attentive support based on individual needs.
- Observe children's progress and communicate relevant information to staff.
- Maintain a stimulating, tidy and safe learning environment.
- Work positively with colleagues and follow setting procedures.
Requirements to be an Early Years Practitioner:
- Previous childcare or early years’ experience is desirable.
- Relevant Early Years or Childcare qualifications would be advantageous.
- Caring, patient and attentive approach.
- Understanding of children's development and early learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and willing to contribute to a busy setting.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
