Salary: £460–£600 per week (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Long-Term/ Day-to-day, Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to work with a school setting in Doncaster. This role is suited to someone who understands the importance of creating a warm, stimulating environment where young children can develop their communication, social and early learning skills.
As an Early Years Practitioner (EYP), you will:
- Support children's learning through age-appropriate play and activities.
- Help create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment.
- Encourage children's communication, confidence and social development.
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care where required.
- Observe children's development and share relevant observations with staff.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures consistently.
Requirements for the Early Years Practitioner role:
- Previous experience working with children in an early years or childcare setting is desirable.
- Relevant Early Years, Childcare or CACHE qualification would be beneficial.
- A warm, patient and nurturing approach.
- Good understanding of children's development and individual needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and able to contribute positively to a busy setting.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
