Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to work with a school in Doncaster. This role is ideal for a teacher who can combine strong subject knowledge with engaging practical lessons and create a positive environment where pupils are encouraged to participate and improve.
Your role as a PE Teacher:
- Deliver engaging practical and theory-based PE lessons.
- Adapt sporting activities to suit different abilities.
- Promote teamwork, discipline and active participation.
- Teach students about physical wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and safety during practical sessions.
- Support sporting events, clubs and extracurricular activities where required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential qualification for the PE Teacher role.
- Strong knowledge across relevant areas of Physical Education.
- Previous experience teaching PE within a school environment is desirable.
- Effective classroom, behaviour and practical-session management.
- Ability to motivate students and encourage participation.
- Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
