Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently seeking a skilled Teacher of Mathematics to work with a school in Doncaster. This role offers the opportunity to deliver structured lessons, develop pupils' mathematical reasoning and create a positive environment where students can build confidence in Mathematics.
Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons.
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly and accessibly.
- Adapt activities to meet different levels of ability.
- Develop students' reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain positive behaviour and high classroom expectations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential to become a Maths Teacher.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Mathematics.
- Previous school-based experience as a Maths Teacher is desirable.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to motivate pupils and develop positive learning relationships.
- Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
