Are you a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Practitioner looking for a part-time opportunity within a primary school?
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming primary school in Harlow, working within their EYFS class.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity starting ASAP, working 2 days per week, and would be ideal for an experienced nursery practitioner who enjoys supporting young children as they begin their educational journey.
About the Role
You will work as part of the EYFS team, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, play and develop.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children within an EYFS / Early Years classroom
- Helping deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning and play activities
- Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
- Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
- Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS framework
- Working alongside the class teacher and wider school team
- Helping children develop positive relationships with their peers
- Supporting daily routines, transitions and classroom activities
- Providing a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment
- Observing children's progress and supporting their individual needs
- Following school safeguarding, health and safety procedures
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Has experience working with young children
- Ideally has experience within a nursery, preschool, EYFS or primary school
- Has a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Is warm, caring and nurturing
- Is enthusiastic and enjoys working with young children
- Can build positive relationships with children and staff
- Is reliable, flexible and adaptable
- Works well as part of a team
Previous experience working in a Nursery, Preschool, Reception or EYFS setting would be highly desirable.
