EYFS Staff – Manchester
Location: Manchester
Salary: £95–£110 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education Manchester Branch currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Staff to work within schools and early years settings across Manchester.
As an EYFS professional, you will support children through their early learning and development, working closely with teachers and other staff to deliver engaging activities and encourage children’s social, emotional, physical and communication development.
Responsibilities of EYFS Staff:
- Support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage in their learning and development.
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Encourage children’s communication, language, social and emotional development.
- Support children with their personal, physical and emotional needs.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Observe children’s progress and communicate relevant observations to the teaching team.
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
- Support children through play-based learning and structured activities.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to meet individual children’s needs.
- Maintain a warm, patient and nurturing approach at all times.
Requirements of EYFS Staff:
- Previous experience working with children in an Early Years, nursery or school setting is desirable.
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring and nurturing approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
- Confidence supporting children with a range of developmental needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant Early Years, childcare or education qualifications are desirable.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
