Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are recruiting enthusiastic and capable Key Stage 2 Teachers for vibrant schools in Doncaster. We would like to hear from qualified educators who can deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, recognise different learning needs, and create a classroom culture where pupils are motivated to participate and progress.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will guide pupils through Years 3 to 6, strengthening their academic knowledge while developing confidence, resilience, independence, and effective learning habits.

Key Stage 2 Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver purposeful lessons across core and foundation areas of the KS2 curriculum
  • Extend pupils’ literacy, numeracy, reasoning, and wider subject knowledge
  • Challenge different ability groups through appropriately differentiated activities
  • Evaluate attainment and use assessment outcomes to inform future planning
  • Foster curiosity, responsibility, and independent approaches to learning
  • Coordinate with teaching assistants and colleagues to address individual learning needs

Key Stage 2 Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
  • Thorough knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
  • Previous experience teaching pupils within Years 3 to 6
  • Ability to adapt teaching effectively for different abilities and learning requirements
  • Confident classroom leadership with strong planning and assessment skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
