Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently looking for an enthusiastic Computer Studies Teacher to work with a school in Doncaster. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, develop students' understanding of computing and encourage them to use technology creatively and responsibly.
As a Computer Studies Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons.
- Teach key concepts in computing, digital technology and related areas.
- Break down technical topics into clear and accessible learning.
- Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving and digital creativity.
- Assess students' understanding and provide useful feedback.
- Promote responsible and safe use of digital technologies.
- Work alongside colleagues to support pupils' academic development.
Requirements for the Computer Studies Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Solid knowledge in Computer Studies or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Computer Science (CS) Teacher within a school environment is desirable.
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to engage students with varied levels of digital experience.
- Strong communication, planning and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
