Pay Rate: £90 - £100 per day (including rolled-up holiday pay)

GSL Education Leicester is recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Leicestershire.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or have transferable experience working with children, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to support teaching and learning across the classroom.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
- Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
- Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working with children in a school, childcare, youth work, or similar setting
- Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be confident supporting pupils with different learning needs
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
