Pay Rate: £90 - £100 per day (including rolled-up holiday pay)

GSL Education Leicester is recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Leicestershire.

About the Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to support teaching and learning across the classroom.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
  • Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
  • Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children in a school, childcare, youth work, or similar setting
  • Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be confident supporting pupils with different learning needs
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
