Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

Are you a confident teacher who enjoys stepping into new classrooms and making a positive difference from day one? A welcoming secondary school in Sheffield is looking for a capable Supply Teacher to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, following existing lesson plans and maintaining continuity of learning. You will take responsibility for classroom management, support pupil engagement and ensure students remain focused and productive throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

Deliver lessons effectively across KS3 and KS4 in line with provided plans and school expectations.

Maintain a positive and purposeful classroom environment.

Manage behaviour consistently and fairly in accordance with school policies.

Support students to remain engaged and complete their learning.

Adapt your approach where appropriate to meet different learning needs.

Monitor pupil understanding and provide relevant feedback to school staff.

Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to the wider school environment.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Ability to adapt quickly to different classes and teaching environments.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A reliable, professional and positive approach to teaching.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
