Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Hartlepool
Salary: £120–£160 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-Term/ Day-to-day, Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education Newcastle branch are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to work with one of our partner schools in Hartlepool. We are keen to hear from teachers who can create an encouraging learning environment and help pupils develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons that make learning enjoyable and accessible.
- Plan activities that support different abilities, needs and learning styles.
- Create a calm, positive classroom where students feel confident to participate.
- Track students’ progress properly.
- Encourage good behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other school staff.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers when required.
Requirements of a Primary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience of teaching within a primary school environment is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and classroom management abilities are required as a Primary Teacher.
- A patient, enthusiastic and child-centred approach is expected from the role.
- Confidence in adapting lessons to support a range of abilities.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional responsibilities.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
