Salary: £120–£160 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Long-Term/ Day-to-day, Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education Newcastle branch are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious educator looking to make a genuine difference to students' learning and development.
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons suited to students’ learning needs.
- Adapt teaching approaches to support different abilities and learning styles.
- Build a welcoming classroom where everyone feels encouraged to contribute.
- Inspire curiosity, confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.
- Monitor individual progress and identify areas for further development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent pupil support.
- Encourage pupils to develop independence, resilience and essential life skills.
- Contribute to a safe, supportive and well-organised school environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is must for a Primary Teacher.
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting is desirable.
- Classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for supporting children's academic and personal development.
- Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Committing to students’ safeguarding is a must as a Primary Teacher.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
