Salary: £95–£115 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Long-Term/ Day-to-day, Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education Newcastle Branch are currently seeking a caring and committed Nursery Practitioner to work with a nursery setting in Middlesbrough. This is an opportunity to support children's early development through engaging activities, positive interactions and a safe, nurturing environment.
Your role as a Nursery Practitioner:
- Support children through play-based learning and daily activities.
- Assist with activities that encourage children's learning and development.
- Support communication, social and emotional development.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children.
- Assist with daily routines and transitions.
- Observe children's development and communicate relevant information.
- Contribute to a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.
Requirements for the Nursery Practitioner role:
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) would be beneficial.
- Experience as a Nursery Practitioner or similar childcare role is desirable.
- A caring, patient and attentive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to engage positively with young children.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
