Job Title: PE Teacher

Location: Doncaster
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-Term/ Day-to-day, Full-Time / Part-Time

Could you deliver engaging Physical Education lessons while helping students develop their physical skills, teamwork, and confidence?

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently seeking a dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join a school in Doncaster. This role would suit a qualified teacher who can deliver effective practical lessons, maintain positive behavior and encourage students to participate actively in Physical Education.

Key Responsibilities of PE Teacher:

  • · Deliver structured Physical Education lessons aligned with curriculum expectations.
  • · Manage students safely and effectively during practical activities.
  • · Encourage students to participate and develop their abilities.
  • · Differentiate activities to support different levels of experience.
  • · Assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • · Work positively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements for the role:

  • · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for the role of a PE Teacher
  • · Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for PE.
  • · Previous experience as a Physical Education Teacher.
  • · Ability to manage practical lessons confidently and safely.
  • · Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • · Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • · Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • · Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
