Job Title: Maths Teacher

Location: Doncaster
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-Term/ Day-to-day, Full-Time / Part-Time

Are you a qualified Maths Teacher who can help students build confidence and make steady progress in mathematics?

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to work with a school in Doncaster. This role offers an opportunity to deliver structured and engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:

  • · Deliver lessons in line with curriculum expectations.
  • · Use a range of teaching strategies to support student understanding.
  • · Identify areas where students require additional support.
  • · Provide clear feedback to help students improve.
  • · Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • · Monitor and assess student progress.
  • · Promote a positive attitude towards mathematics.

Requirements for the Maths Teacher role:

  • · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • · Strong knowledge of Maths and curriculum requirements.
  • · Previous teaching experience in a school setting.
  • · Effective lesson planning and differentiation skills.
  • · Confident classroom and behavior management.
  • · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • · Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • · Clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
