Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Are you a creative and passionate Design Technology (DT) Teacher looking for your next opportunity?
GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently seeking a skilled Design and Technology Teacher to work with a school in Doncaster. You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge, encourage creativity, and help students develop valuable design and technical skills.
The successful DT Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support students with practical projects, and create a positive classroom environment. We are looking for someone who is confident, enthusiastic, and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
As a D&T Teacher, you will:
- · Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons.
- · Teach practical and theoretical aspects of the subject effectively.
- · Adapt lessons to accommodate different abilities and learning needs.
- · Promote safe and responsible use of equipment and materials.
- · Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
- · Maintain high expectations for behavior, effort, and achievement.
- · Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students' development.
Requirements for the DT Teacher role:
- · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for the Design and Technology Teacher role
- · Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology.
- · Previous teaching experience within a school environment.
- · Ability to plan and deliver effective practical lessons.
- · Strong classroom and behavior management skills.
- · Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- · Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- · Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
