Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460–£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-Term/ Day-to-day, Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently looking for a caring and reliable Teaching Assistant to support a school in Doncaster. This rewarding role involves working closely with teachers to create an engaging learning environment, helping pupils build confidence, achieve their goals, and reach their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will:
- · Support students with their learning during lessons and classroom activities.
- · Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.
- · Help students understand instructions and complete tasks.
- · Encourage positive behavior and engagement.
- · Support students’ confidence, independence, and communication skills.
- · Work closely with teachers and other support staff.
- · Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements for the role:
- · Previous experience as a TA working with children or young people is desirable.
- · Experience in a school, childcare, youth work or similar setting would be beneficial.
- · A patient, calm, and supportive approach.
- · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- · Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
- · Reliable, organised and committed to supporting students.
- · Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- · A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
