GSL Education are looking for enthusiastic and caring Nursery Assistants, Nursery Practitioners and Early Years Practitioners to join our supply team, supporting a range of welcoming nurseries and Early Years settings across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for one or two days a week, regular supply work, additional hours around your existing commitments or the opportunity to gain more Early Years experience, we'd love to hear from you.
What will you be doing?
As a Nursery Assistant / Early Years Practitioner, you could be supporting children across Baby, Toddler and Pre-School rooms, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting children's learning, development and play
- Helping deliver fun and engaging activities
- Supporting children with their daily routines
- Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
- Supporting indoor and outdoor learning and play
- Helping with snack and mealtimes
- Building positive and nurturing relationships with children
- Supporting children with additional needs where required
- Working alongside experienced nursery teams
- Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures
- Helping to create a happy, safe and inclusive environment
Who are we looking for?
We welcome applications from:
- Nursery Assistants
- Nursery Practitioners
- Early Years Practitioners
- Early Years Assistants
- Nursery Nurses
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualified childcare practitioners
- Experienced unqualified childcare workers
- Candidates with experience in nursery, preschool, childcare or Early Years settings
- People with transferable experience working with children
You don't necessarily need to have years of experience. Most importantly, we're looking for people who are:
