Salary: £460 - £650 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes when their regular teacher is unavailable, ensuring pupils understand and complete the work provided. You will work across different subjects and year groups, maintaining clear expectations, supporting pupils with their learning and managing classroom behaviour throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

Supervise classes across a range of subjects and year groups.

Deliver lesson instructions and ensure pupils complete the work provided.

Maintain a calm, orderly and focused classroom environment.

Manage behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.

Support pupils with their learning where appropriate.

Report concerns, incidents and relevant feedback to teaching staff.

Work effectively with teachers and other members of the school team.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

A confident, calm and professional approach.

Ability to manage groups of pupils effectively.

Good organisational skills and a reliable attitude.

A genuine interest in supporting pupils' education.

Education, youth work or classroom experience is advantageous.

Have the right to work in the UK.

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
