Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Sheffield
Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are working with vibrant schools in Sheffield to find caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (EYP). We are looking for individuals who can create enjoyable learning experiences, respond to each child’s developmental needs, and provide a safe and encouraging environment where children can explore and grow.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children during an important stage of their development, using play, creative activities, and everyday routines to strengthen communication, social interaction, independence, and early learning skills.
Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Support children through play-based and age-appropriate learning activities
- Encourage language, communication, and positive social interaction
- Prepare creative, sensory, and practical activities for young learners
- Help children develop independence and confidence in daily routines
- Observe development and contribute to records of children’s progress
- Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating Early Years environment
Early Years Practitioner Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children
- A relevant Early Years or childcare qualification in a school or similar setting
- Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Ability to respond appropriately to different developmental needs
- Patient, caring, dependable, and able to work effectively within a team
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
