Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are working with amazing schools in Doncaster to recruit confident and supportive Behaviour Support. We are interested in individuals who can respond calmly to challenging situations, understand the reasons behind behaviour, and provide consistent guidance that helps students make positive choices.
The Behaviour Support role involves working closely with students who may experience behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties, helping them manage challenges and participate more positively in learning.
Behaviour Support Responsibilities:
- Support students individually and in small groups with behavioural needs
- Build trusting relationships and provide consistent guidance
- Recognise behaviour triggers and help students develop appropriate responses
- Encourage students to remain engaged and participate in classroom learning
- Reinforce clear expectations, routines, and positive behaviour
- Collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff to support individual behaviour plans
Behaviour Support Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Understanding of behaviour management and positive intervention strategies
- Confidence in responding appropriately to challenging behaviour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, patient, resilient, and consistent approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
