Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join inclusive schools in Doncaster. We welcome individuals who enjoy creating engaging learning experiences, understand the importance of learning through play, and can support each child’s development at their own pace.
The EYP contributes to children’s early development by creating opportunities to explore, communicate, build relationships, and develop independence within a safe and stimulating environment.
Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Deliver play-based activities that encourage exploration and discovery
- Support the development of early language, communication, and social skills
- Encourage children to make choices and become increasingly independent
- Assist with creative, sensory, and practical learning activities
- Observe children and contribute to records of their learning and development
- Support daily routines while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
Early Years Practitioner Requirements:
- Previous experience working with babies or young children
- A relevant Early Years or childcare qualification in a school or similar setting
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Ability to recognise and respond to individual developmental needs
- Caring, patient, organised, and able to work effectively with others
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
