Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking enthusiastic and confident Physical Education Teacher to join schools in Doncaster. We would like to hear from qualified educators who can deliver active and inclusive lessons, motivate learners of different abilities, and help young people understand the value of fitness, teamwork, and healthy living.

The PE Teacher creates engaging opportunities for students to develop physical skills, improve fitness, and build confidence through a variety of sports and activities.

PE Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities
  • Teach sporting techniques, rules, and safe ways to participate
  • Adapt activities to suit different abilities and levels of experience
  • Encourage teamwork, fair play, confidence, and active participation
  • Assess student performance and provide helpful feedback
  • Contribute to sports clubs, school teams, competitions, and events

PE Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
  • Previous experience teaching PE within a school or similar setting
  • Good knowledge of the PE curriculum and different sports
  • Confidence managing practical lessons indoors and outdoors
  • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
