Job Title: Math Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking to appoint skilled and enthusiastic Mathematics Teachers for schools across Doncaster. We are keen to hear from qualified educators who can explain concepts in simple ways, adapt lessons for different abilities, and encourage learners to approach Mathematics with confidence and curiosity.
The Maths Teacher provides structured and engaging lessons that develop students’ numerical knowledge, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities while supporting their academic progress.
Math Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Teach key topics including number, algebra, geometry, and statistics
- Use clear examples and activities to explain difficult concepts
- Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs and ability levels
- Monitor progress through classwork, homework, tests, and assessments
- Support students with revision and preparation for examinations
Math Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience teaching Mathematics within a school
- Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively
- Good planning, communication, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
