Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £460 - £650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are supporting welcoming school throughout Doncaster in finding caring and reliable Teaching Assistant (TA). We would like to hear from individuals who can work closely with teachers, provide extra guidance when needed, and help learners stay involved and make steady progress.
The Teaching Assistant provides practical classroom support to individuals and small groups, helping students develop their skills, confidence, and independence.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with lessons and everyday classroom activities
- Provide one-to-one support to learners who need additional guidance
- Work with small groups to practise and strengthen key skills
- Help students understand instructions and complete assigned tasks
- Encourage participation, independence, and positive behaviour
- Prepare learning materials and help maintain an organised classroom
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support different learning needs and ability levels
- Patient, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
