Location: Sheffield
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are offering opportunities in Sheffield for passionate and energetic Physical Education Teacher. We welcome applications from qualified educators who can deliver enjoyable and inclusive PE lessons, encourage students of all abilities to participate, and promote teamwork, discipline, and healthy living.
The PE Teacher provides engaging physical education that helps learners improve their sporting abilities, understand the importance of fitness, and develop valuable personal and teamwork skills.
PE Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver PE lessons across a variety of sports and physical activities
- Teach correct techniques, rules, and safe participation in different sports
- Adapt activities to meet different abilities and levels of experience
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, fair play, and active participation
- Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Support school sports clubs, teams, competitions, and events
PE Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience teaching PE within a school or similar setting
- Good knowledge of the PE curriculum and a variety of sports
- Confidence leading practical activities both indoors and outdoors
- Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
