Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term
Do you enjoy creating a positive start for young children by helping them learn, explore, and develop through everyday experiences?
GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to work with vibrant schools in Doncaster. We would like to hear from individuals who can create a welcoming environment, support children at different stages of development, and make learning enjoyable through play and practical activities.
The EYP supports young learners with their early communication, social, physical, and learning skills while encouraging curiosity and independence.
Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Support children with play-based learning and planned activities
- Encourage early language, communication, and social development
- Prepare creative and practical activities suitable for different needs
- Help young learners develop independence through everyday routines
- Observe children’s development and share relevant progress with staff
- Maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming learning environment
Early Years Practitioner Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children
- Relevant Early Years or childcare qualification is advantageous
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Patient, caring, and responsible approach to supporting children
- Good communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
